Slap #013: Someday Is a Lie You Tell Yourself to Feel Safe Today.
Now is the only timeline with a pulse.
You say you will start that project.
Launch that idea.
Change that habit.
Once things calm down.
Once you have more time.
More energy.
More certainty.
But here is the truth:
Someday is not a plan. It is a polite way of saying “never.”
Life does not make room for you. You carve space with action.
• Time will not open up.
• The fear will not go away.
• The stars will not align.
You are not waiting for the right moment.
You are avoiding the present moment.
Now is all there is. And it is always enough to start.
So today?
Call the person.
Send the thing.
Make the move.
Press publish.
Do it badly. Do it imperfectly. But do it now.
Your life does not need more planning. It needs more proof.
Hope this one struck (pun always intended) a chord as well. Sing.
Until tomorrow.
What have you been saving for “someday” — and what would change if you started it now, messy and unfinished?
