I so needed this – Anthony Moore , Thank you!

As you have rightly pointed out, some experiences and memories stick with us as at a sub-conscious level. They may not be apparent but have a say in what you choose and do.

  • I have never worn light coloured shirts since my teens because someone said they make me look darker. It is the opposite that is actually true!
  • I discontinued playing the guitar as in my first week itself, my teacher compared me with someone senior and said I do not have the natural talent like that person
  • I have delayed my entrepreneurship pursuits as it was said that doing business doesn’t run in the family!

These and many more have been the unseen foundations for many of decisions and actions. I have started breaking the mould in each of the areas, questioning and doing the opposite.

Feels liberating! A nonchalance towards looking stupid has certainly been beneficial.

You know you are on the right path, when the same people who laughed at you now ask, how did you do it?

Here’s to more stupidity and embarrassments. Here’s to living life on your terms!
